Los Angeles: Three people were killed Sunday when a helicopter crashed in southern California at a ranch used for filming movies, CNN television reported.
The network said the crash occurred early in the day at the Polsa Rosa Movie Ranch in Acton, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Los Angeles.
The Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopter hit the ground under unknown circumstances, the report said. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board were investigating the accident. Three people aboard the helicopter were killed, according to local authorities quoted by CNN.
