Muscat: Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Chairman of the State Council, received in his office here yesterday Dr. Frank Otfried July, Evangelical Bishop of Stuttgart and his accompanying delegation.
Dr Al Manthri stressed the importance of such meetings in supporting and developing fields of joint cooperation between the two sides. He gave a briefing to the guest and his accompanying delegation on the Shura's march in the Sultanate and the prerogatives of the State Council. In their turn, the guest expressed their appreciation of the progress being witnessed by the Sultanate under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The meeting was also attended by the German ambassador to the Sultanate.
