Oman: Two citizens had complained to Amerat Police Station about a person who had stolen electric cables from the houses in the wilayat of Amerat.
Following investigations the police questioned the accused, who confessed to the thefts. It turned out that the accused was also involved in drug peddling cases.
His case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation and trial.
