Muscat: Air India has announced the introduction of special promotional fares for passengers originating from Muscat to all gateway points in India.
The airline has launched special add-on fares for domestic sectors. Passengers can now fly to Mumbai, paying as little as OMR10 extra for a one-way trip and OMR20 for return travel to onward domestic destinations such as Mangalore and Goa, said Amresh Choudhary, the Country Manager for Air India–Muscat.
Similarly, passengers travelling to Mumbai on the above special promotional fare can also travel to Nagpur, Rajkot, and Indore over Mumbai by paying an additional OMR12 for a one-way trip and OMR24 for a return trip.
For passengers travelling to Chennai and beyond, Air India has introduced special promotional fares. Passengers can travel to Cochin, Madurai, and Trivandrum over Chennai by paying an additional OMR10 for a one-way trip and OMR20 for a return trip.
The special fares for Mumbai and Chennai are available until March 31, 2013. Travel to Mumbai will be valid up to May 15, 2013, and travel to Chennai will be valid up to April 15, 2013.
Similarly, special domestic fares are available for travel over Delhi to almost all major domestic points across northern India.
Many passengers are also taking advantage of the business-class special offer 'Get Up Front', wherein economy-class passengers can pay as little as OMR50 for an upgrade at the airport to enjoy premium business class service on their flights to India.
With 24 flights a week, the airline offers daily non-stop flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai and travels three times a week to Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Passengers can contact the Air India office or its travel agents to avail themselves of special offers.
