Oman, Qatar sign pact on security cooperation

Muscat: An agreement for exchanging attestation documents on security cooperation was signed at the Foreign Ministry yesterday between Oman and Qatar for enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Sultanate’s by Mohammed bin Nasser Al Wahibi, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry while it was signed on behalf of the Qatari government by Ali bin Fahd Al Hajri, Qatari ambassador to Oman.
Thus, the Omani and Qatari sides have completed the necessary legal procedures for the agreement to come into force in accordance with the article (14) of the aforementioned agreement signed between the two countries at Doha on 19th Rajab 1437 AH corresponding to April 26, 2016.
