French team to step up Gulf Cup preparations in Bahrain

Manama: French event industry 'Seiten Event' is scheduled to arrive in Manama this week to step up its preparations for the opening ceremony of the 21st Gulf Cup football tournament, to be held in Bahrain in January next year. Seiten Event will be in charge of the opening ceremony on January 5 and the closing ceremony on January 18 at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa.

The company also organised the ceremony of this prestigious tournament with success welcoming 100 VIP guests and broadcasted Live to 17 channels throughout the Gulf region. Organising Committee co-ordination and follow-up director Nasser Abdulla said the French company, which was founded in 2008 with the mission to deliver expert event services of an international standard to the Gulf region, will bring along their equipment to be used at the opening and closing ceremonies.

He noted that the working team will be making several field visits to the National Stadium to determine the details related to the programme of the opening ceremony."Seiten Event has a team of experienced professionals, who are following through with their commitment and exceeding the expectations of their ever-growing list of corporate clients," said Abdulla.

"We had Intensified our co-ordination and communication with them in the past few weeks to arrange the essential equipment. We are now working on preparing permissions from the customs to get those equipment from Dubai and Jeddah."

"The company is now progressing even further by reinforcing its presence in the Middle East and bringing expert talent into the Kingdom to produce events that often exceed their international counterparts. "Its professional team consists of known industry leaders, whose goal is to fuse their technical expertise with the demands of the local market," further explained Abdulla.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Committee has formed a group of teams to welcome the Kingdom's guests attending the tournament. This was revealed after the committee meeting, chaired by Mohammed Qassim, who also said that the committee had regular meeting with specialised parties to coordinate in preparing all arrangements for the reception of the GCC delegations and dignitaries expected to arrive just before the tournament.

The meeting was also attended by Zaina Zuayyed and Dana Bashara of the public relations committee secretariat, as well as members Khalid Khalil, Khalid Fahad, Adel Buhazza, Abdulnasser Al Mahri, Khalid Al Shomeli, Fahad Buchiri, Ahmed Al Muharraqi, Khalid Hamad and Ahmed Isa.
