Muscat: The National Business Centre (NBC) has extended support to information security company, Golden Eagle.

An initiative of a group of young Omanis, the Golden Eagle claims to have developed original and foolproof IT security solutions. Its solution, according to Golden Eagle, is the one best suited for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as they are the ones who need maximum security for the information stored in various forms.

As an important support system, the NBC operates as an incubator of SMEs. It appreciated the project idea of Golden Eagle, which aims to provide integrated and comprehensive solutions in the field of information security, control installations, programming systems and information technology in general to find a niche place in the local market.

Local market
The Golden Eagle project was initiated after a study of various types of business activities in the local market and Omani companies operating in the technical field, in particular. The study showed that there is a need to enter into this sector and compete with companies operating, to provide a new experience in this area.

The company's founder, Kaleem bin Mohammed Al Yacoubi, is an Omani young and ambitious entrepreneur. He wants to make his own contributions in advancing the development of the country through investment and expertise. According to him, the establishment of the company was a challenging job, financially as well as administratively. "This was besides the challenges of the market.

However, the determination to develop the project was strong and we started with a humble beginning and today, we are in a position to deliver service," said Kaleem.

The company was able to grow in a short span of time and reach the level where it has on its rolls seven Omani employees.
