‘Bappi Lahiri Live in Muscat’ on April 25

Muscat: Renowned Indian singer, composer and music director Bappi Lahiri, popularly known as Disco King in Bollywood, will enthral the Muscat audience on April 25 at the City Amphitheatre, Qurum. He will be accompanied by leading vocalists Charu Semwal, model-anchor Lincia Rosario and the great mimic and stand-up comedian Raja Sagoo, winner of Comedy Nights 20-20 series.

'Bappi Lahiri Live in Muscat' is brought to the Omani capital by Majan Events, who has staged more than 600 shows in Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu, Kannada and English.

The company has also held live shows of Falguni Pathak, Raju Srivastava, Suresh Wadkar, Steven Devassy and many more world famous artistes in Oman. Bappi Lahiri has earned an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records with over 180 songs recorded for 33 films in 1986. Bappi da, as he is popularly known, has composed more than 5,000 songs in over 500 movies in various languages.

This show will provide an excellent entertainment to all ages of music lovers with evergreen songs of Bappi Lahiri's era.

"We have already seen an excellent response to this show from a very high fan-following of Bappi da, who are rushing to grab tickets for this show," said Sheikh Kaleem, managing director of Majan Events.
