Omani-Iranian military team meets Al Rasbi 

Mohammed bin Nasser Al Rasbi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence received here on Wednesday delegation of the Omani-Iranian Joint Military Friendship Committee led by Brig. Gen. Mostafa Salami, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Operational Affairs, who is currently visiting the Sultanate. Maj. Gen Mattar bin Salim bin Rashid Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and Air Vice Marshal Mattar bin Ali bin Mattar Al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) also received in their office at Mu'askar Al Murtafa'ah the delegation led by Brig. Gen. Mostafa Salami. Meanwhile, deliberations of the Omani-Iranian Joint Military Friendship Committee's meetings concluded on Wednesday. The Omani side was chaired by Brigadier Rashid bin Saif Al Shidi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning whilst it was chaired from the Iranian side by Brigadier General Mostafa Salami.
Cruise ship visits Salalah

Adonia cruise ship on Wednesday visited Salalah Port with 1,324 passengers on its board, including 674 tourists as part of its tour programme to a number of ports around the world. The programme of the cruise ship, which came from Mumbai Port in India and heading to Safaja Port in Egypt, included tours to the major tourist and archeological landmarks, as well as the traditional markets in the Wilayat of Salalah. Seabourn Legend cruise ship visited Salalah Port on Tuesday with 370 passengers on its board, 
including 149 tourists.

Singapore Foreign Minister visits Grand Mosque

Masagos Zulkifli, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs of Singapore and his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate. During the visit, Zulkifli was briefed on the history of the mosque's building and familiarised himself on the models of the Omani and Islamic architecture and its unique architectural style. The guest also familiarised himself with the mosque's centres, such as the Islamic Sciences Institute, the library, lecture hall and the other facilities. 

The Singaporean official and his accompanying delegation also paid a visit to the Royal Opera House Muscat. He was briefed on the ROHM, the facilities and nature of shows presented and its year-round programme, in addition to viewing its equipment. He also toured various facilities during which he was briefed on the role that ROHM plays in the cultural field.
