Tenders worth OMR20m awarded for various projects across Oman

Muscat: The Tender Board on Wednesday awarded tenders worth OMR20.43 million for executing various projects. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, chairman of the Tender Board.

These projects are upgrading Seih Qatna road in the Niyabat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in the Wilayat of Nizwa in the Governorate of A'Dakhiliyah at OMR6,303,970, provision of technicians for maintenance of medical devices and equipment at the Royal Hospital at OMR5,969,220, renewal of security guard contract for buildings of the Ministry of Justice in the Sultanate's governorates and wilayats at OMR2,633,400 and additional works for construction of intersection bridges of Ittin road with Al Ribat road and expansion of Al Ribat road in Salalah in the Governorate of Dhofar at OMR 4,354,410.

Also, another project was for additional works for provision of catering, housekeeping and laundry services and combating insects for various hospitals and health complexes affiliated to the Ministry of Health at OMR562,383. Additional works for renewal of leasing contract of the teacher training and at the Ministry of Education at OMR540,000 was also awarded.

The board also opened bids for other development projects.
