His Majesty receives Renaissance Day greetings

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of greetings from Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Inspector General of Police and Customs Lt.Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi, Chairman of the State Council Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, and Chairman of Majlis Al Shura Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Ma'awali on the occasion of July 23, the Blessed Renaissance Day anniversary.

In his cable, Al Busaidi said: "Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the Glorious July 23, which marks the beginning of a bright era and comprehensive development, I am honoured to extend my greetings and that of the Sultan's valiant Armed Forces, the triumphant Firaq Forces and all employees of the Ministry of Defence to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty to keep Your Majesty as a leader of this victorious Renaissance".
Al Busaidi added, "Over the 44 years of the Blessed Renaissance, Oman has enjoyed peace and stability.

"The valiant armed forces and the victorious Firaq Forces and all employees of this Ministry of Defence, as they celebrate this solemn occasion, are inspired by the trust put on them while keeping the flag of Oman fluttering high; renew their loyalty, love and faithfulness, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant Your Majesty a good health and happiness,'' said Sayyid Badr.

Sayyid Badr further said: ''May Allah the Almighty protect and support Your Majesty and return this occasion on Oman for many years to come with progress and prosperity."

In his cable, Lt Gen Al Shraiqi and on behalf of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) personnel extended sincere greetings on the Blessed Renaissance Day, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant His Majesty  good health and happiness.

The Inspector-General of Police and Customs said, "ROP personnel, who opted to serve their country, are working hard in response to your wise directives and sound visions. We will safeguard the growth made by the Sultanate during the Blessed Renaissance."

In his cable, Dr Al Mantheri said, "I am honoured to extend to Your Majesty the sincerest greetings and best wishes on the 44th  anniversary of the Blessed Renaissance on behalf of the members of the State Council and its employees. This glorious day, which Allah the Almighty has destined to this dear country under your wise leadership, is a source of pride and dignity."

The State Council's chairman added, "The Renaissance has spread prosperity and goodness and it has reached every part of this land, so that every single citizen and resident enjoys peaceful and dignified life under state institutions and law enacted by you for the homeland. May Allah the Almighty repay your efforts, crown your endeavours with success, and bestow on you good health and happiness."

In his cable, Al Ma'awali said: "On the Blessed Renaissance Day, which coincides with the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and the coming of Eid Al Fitr, I am honoured to extend to Your Majesty the sincerest greetings on behalf of the members of the Majlis Al Shura and its employees on this glorious occasion."

Expressing his most sincere wishes and greetings to His Majesty, Al Ma'awali prayed to Allah for the return of this occasion while His Majesty enjoys a good health and wellbeing, and Royal family, Omani people, and the government enjoys prosperity, with the affirmation of loyalty to His Majesty.
