Ljubljana: The Sultanate's scout delegation continued its participation for the second day at the 40th World Scout Conference, held in Ljubljana in Slovenia under the theme 'One Tree and Many Branches'.

The conference will continue until Saturday. The Sultanate's delegation yesterday participated in the Scouts and Guides Gallery, which includes images and publications reflecting the scouting development and Renaissance achievements under the Royal care of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Sultanate's Grand Scout.

Dr Atif Abdul Majid, Secretary-General of Arab Scouting Organisation, praised the scouts from the Sultanate, saying the Omani participation is a significant and active one in offering substantive opinions in various areas. He hailed the participants from Sultanate as the most honourable in the 12th World Scout Conference.

He added that he was impressed by the Omani Scout Exhibition, which reflects the noticeable activities of scouting in Oman over the past years, at the national, Gulf, Arab and international levels.
