Indian School Mabelah holds kindergarten concert

Muscat: The tiny tots of Indian School Al Mabelah celebrated its third kindergarten concert with great fervour and enthusiasm on January 14, 2013.  Prema George, kindergarten supervisor, Indian School Muscat (Jibroo) was the chief guest. The function began with a prayer song followed by a welcome speech presented by Natania of KG I. The inaugural address was delivered by Z. A. Kazi, vice-principal. A foot tapping dance on a song Ache Bache was presented by KG I and KG II children with great enthusiasm. KG I children presented a lively, bright and colourful dance and enthralled the audience. A debate by KG II children depicted the ill-effects of junk food on the health and the benefits of healthy food with nutritional values. The budding designers and models presented a fashion show. A skit was presented by KG children, which had a valuable message "Think before you act." A delightful dance was performed by KG II children, which left the audience spellbound and completely mesmerised. The chief guest distributed the prizes for the winners of the Tiny Tots Talent Time competition to encourage and motivate the participants further. The KG II children shared their sweet memories filled with happiness, fun, excitement and learning. Prabakaran, principal of the school delivered the key note address. The vote of thanks was proposed by Hamna of KG II. The SMC members, Sayed Ayaz, convenor and Amit Khire, chairperson, sports subcommittee also attended the function.
