Oman health: Nuclear medicine centre opened at Royal Hospital

Muscat: Molecular Nuclear Medicine (MNM) and Nuclear Accelerator Centre, stretching over 2,000 square metres was opened at the Royal Hospital in the presence of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health and health officials.
Nasr bin Hamoud Al Kindi, Secretary General of the Royal Court Affairs patronised over the opening ceremony.
The centre, which is the first of its kind in the Sultanate, comprises of a nuclear accelerator, a laboratory, 8 injection rooms, isotope room and two rooms for molecular photography.
