Oman Tennis Association successfully hosts first inter-club junior tennis in Manah

Muscat: Oman Tennis Association (OTA) successfully organised the 1st Inter-club Junior Tennis Championships in the Wilayat of Manah.
The two-day tournament, which began on April 15 and 16, took place at the Manah Recreation Centre.
In the individual category, Al Bashaer Club’s Al Abdili Mohammed Abdili won the under-10 boys title after defeating Nizwa Club’s Fayad Mahamood Al Khrousi 10-5 in a well-contested final.
In the under-12 boys final, Ahmed Ismael Al Tobi, also of Al Bashaer Club, defeated Nizwa’s Saif Ahmed Al Khrousi 10-8.
Al Tobi’s teammate Nubras Mohammed Al Abdili surved some anxious moments before defeating Nizwa Club’s Yahya Abdullah Al Rajhi 11-9 to take the under-14 boys title.
In the team championships, Majees Club team comprising Abdulrahman Al Balushi, Ahmed Al Farsi, Khamis Al Jabri, emerged the champions in the under-10 boys competition.
Nizwa Club, consisting of Mohammed Al Hashmi, Fayad Al Khrousi, Ahmed Al Hashmi, took the second place while Al Bashaer Club (Al Abdili Al Abdili) settled for the third place.
In the boys under-12 competition, Nizwa (Yassen Al Khrousi, Taha Al Khrousi and Saif Al Khrousi) won the title ahead of Al Bashaer (Ahmed Al Tobi and Al Abdili Mohammed Al Abdili). Majees Club (Abdulrahman Al Balushi, Mohammed Al Barmani and Moaadh Al Zadjali) won the third place.
In the boys under-14, Nizwa Club, represented by Yahya Al Rajhi, Qusai Al Hadidi, Saif Al Khrousi and Yaseen Yahya, emerged the champions.
Quriyat Club (Qusai Al Busafi, Nasser Al Soti, Muayed Al Battashi and Hussein Al Battashi) won the second place, while Bashaer (Nibras Al Abdali, Yaqub Al Tobi, Faisal Al Masrouri and Abdullah Al Hadrami) took the third place.
