Special hospital bed for children by Czech designer unveiled in Oman

Muscat: Oman Cancer Association, the leading not-for-profit agency working to assist cancer patients in Oman, recently held a special event, entitled Future of Care, focusing on hospital care for children in the Sultanate.
The gathering, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh and held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Muscat, was hosted by the Linet Group SE, a leading global supplier of innovative hospital beds.
Also, a multi-care paediatric bed, designed by renowned Czech designer Pavel Stastny, was unveiled at the event, in the presence of dignitaries and community leaders.
Linet has been working to improve the quality of healthcare in more than 100 countries, and has been active in Oman for the last 10 years. More than 2,000 state-of-the-art Linet beds have been delivered to leading hospitals in Oman, assuring comfort for young patients during their hospital treatment.
Dr. Zahid Al Mandhary, the General Secretary of OCA, thanked Linet for their efforts at easing the suffering of child patients by making available children-friendly hospital beds. “Linet has designed and provided innovative hospital beds for children in the Sultanate, and it is up to the agencies and stakeholders concerned to make them available at our hospitals,” he said.
