Pakistani singer Amanat Ali's concert, food festival postponed in Oman

Muscat: The annual musical evening starring noted Pakistan singer Amanat Ali and food festival, scheduled to be held on May 7, have been postponed by organisers Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) for an indefinite period of time.
"We have postponed the event due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control. The school has now decided to hold it after the Board of Directors' elections slated for May 26," Adnan Shehzad, Chairman Board of Directors, Pakistani Schools in Oman, said talking to Times of Oman yesterday.
The annual musical evening along with the food festival are the most popular events organised by PSM. Thousands of food and music lovers from all communities residing in Oman flock to PSM to enjoy the magic the wonderful Pakistani food and music at the same time.
Amanat Ali, a highly popular singer among Pakistani and Indian fans, shot to fame due to his sterling performances on Indian TV channels, winning the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Middle East 2007 and ending up as the 2nd runner-up of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa India 2007. His melodious voice and mature singing fascinated millions of music fans across the world.
The food festival not only gives people to savour the delectable Pakistani cuisine but purchase Pakistani dresses and handcrafts too from the Meena bazar that is part of the mega event designed to entertain the families.
