Oman's Majlis Al Shura approves question barring expats from getting family visa

Majlis Al Shura approved the parliamentary question addressed to the Inspector-General of Police and Customs banning expatriates whose salaries are less than OMR600 from getting family visa.

During the meeting, the parliamentary question was addressed to the Minister of Transport and Communications about Omantel’s investment in World Call of Pakistan and the measures taken on how to address the losses from this company.
It also approved the parliamentary question addressed to the Minister of Commerce and Industry about benefiting from FTA with US with regard to exemption of products of Omani origin from custom duties when exported to the US market. Majlis held its meeting under the chair of Khalid bin Hilal Al- Maawali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura.
