GCC Supreme Council's consultative authority to discuss environmental cooperation in Muscat

Muscat: The GCC Supreme Council's Consultative Authority will hold its 3rd meeting of its 19th session next "Wednesday" in Muscat under the chair of Hamad bin Saud al-Sayari, Chairman of the GCC Supreme Council's Consultative Authority.

The authority will discuss several topics as the committees' visions draft raised by the technical committees of the authority, which will be raised to the GCC Supreme Council during the next summit in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The draft of the committees' visions deal with preparing a comprehensive strategy study for the environmental cooperation among the GCC countries.

The meeting will also discuss means of enhancing the GCC private sector role in investing in agricultural and livestock projects, as well as studying the Gulf citizen productivity, its limitations and means of increasing them.

The GCC Authority will review the report of the committee in charge of studying the development and activation of the GCC Consultative Authority role.
