Oman Arab Bank starts Islamic window operation in Al Buraimi

Muscat: Al Yusr Islamic Banking, the Sharia-compliant window of Oman Arab Bank (OAB), has opened its first dedicated branch in Al Buraimi Governorate. As part of its efforts to ensure its products and services are within convenient reach to the largest number of people across Oman, the new branch comes only weeks after Al Yusr announced opening a flagship branch in Athaiba.
“Ever since Al Yusr was launched, we have been diligently moving forward in our expansion plans and today, we are delighted to announce that Al Yusr now has branches in all major cities across the Sultanate,” said Abdul Qader Al Balushi, general manager of Al Yusr Islamic Banking.
“We also plan on expanding further to other strategic locations to meet the high demand for our innovative Islamic finance products and services,” he added.
The Al Buraimi branch is located in Al Sa’araa Al Jadeeda. With this recent addition, Al Yusr now has a total of seven branches in high footfall locations in Muscat, Al Buraimi, Sohar, Ibra, Nizwa and Salalah.
