Philippines' Duterte sworn as president, rails against crime

Manila: Rodrigo Duterte was sworn in as the Philippines' 16th president on Thursday, and minutes later he told the nation that he would wage a "relentless" and "sustained" battle against crime and warned officials that he would not tolerate corruption.
In an acceptance speech at the president's palace, Duterte said there had been an erosion of trust in the country's leaders and people were hungry for change.
