Fans in Oman queue up to buy tickets for ‘Kabali’

Muscat: Hundreds of people queued in front of Star Cinema in Ruwi on Thursday morning to buy tickets for ‘Kabali’, a south Indian film which stars Rajnikanth, one of the most popular South Indian film stars of the era.

Huge posters of the movie were put up all around the cinema and lots of excited fans stood in the queue for hours in the sun just to get a ticket for this much anticipated film.

AirAsia airline has gone a step ahead in this direction as their aircrafts loudly bear the film’s posters and offered packages from Bangalore to Chennai to watch the first day, first show of the film. The package was sold out just two hours after it was announced to agents, it was reported.

The film is going almost houseful in City Cinema and Vox for the weekend and is due for a global release tomorrow.
