Oman Al Khair Hospital to be inaugurated in Ibri

Muscat: Oman Al Khair, the first private hospital in the Governorate of Al Dhahirah, will be opened on Sunday under the auspices of Shaikh Mohammed bin Said al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development.
The hospital includes departments for family medicine, surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedic, radiology and laboratory. The hospital has been equipped with state-of-the art medical equipment to provide high quality treatment for patients.
The imaging department provides 4 types of images namely X ray, MRI, CT and 3D, 4D ultrasound. The hospital also includes theatre room and delivery ward, in addition to intensive care unit (ICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). It also has wards for males, females and private rooms.
Oman Al Khair Hospital initially started as a polyclinic in Kahnat village in the Wilayat of Ibri in 1981. It is one of the first polyclinic to provide its services outside Muscat. The polyclinic was shifted to Ibri and promoted to a health complex provided with medical facilities and a pharmacy.
