Arab, international media hail Oman’s development

Muscat: A number of Arab, GCC and international media continued their coverage of the Sultanate’s Renaissance Day commending the achievements and developments initiated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
Emirates News Agency (WAM) said that the government and citizens of the Sultanate have been marking the Renaissance anniversary with pride over 46 years of achievements led by His Majesty the Sultan. WAM said in a report published on Friday that His Majesty personally follows up on the development process all across the Sultanate and accords attention to the provision of positive participation for Omani nationals in various fields, adding that all citizens are experiencing the fruits of the blessed Renaissance.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) published a report on the occasion of the Renaissance Day.
The report said that the Renaissance Day comes while the Sultanate witnesses an important period of its development which targets to uplift several economic and social sectors benefiting from the Sultanate’s huge investment potentials.
The SPA report said that government’s future plans focuses on social development particularly the aspects related to the citizens’ welfare as well as the training and productivity-enhancing programmes.
The report added that His Majesty himself oversees the development process all across the Sultanate and accords great attention to the provision of participation opportunities for citizens in various fields.
Qatar News Agency (QNA) said in a report that His Majesty has deep trust on the capacities of the Omani people in undertaking their role in building their present and forming their future.
His Majesty gives attention to the positive participation of the citizens in various fields.
QNA report added that His Majesty has provided all the means and capacities for the Omani citizens so that the Sultanate can achieve the goals of development process led by His Majesty.
Bahrain News Agency (BNA) published a report in which it said that the construction of the modern state of Oman came as a result of well-studied and gradual steps building the present and paving the way for the future.
Since 1976 a number of consecutive five-year plans have been implemented striking a delicate balance between preservation of heritage and the requirements of the present.
Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) said in a report that the Renaissance has always been a source of pride for all Omanis throughout the march of the development led by His Majesty since 1970.
Kuna report said that every year the Sultanate of Oman marks the Renaissance anniversary which constitutes a distinctive historical mark which transformed the Sultanate into a modern prosperous country.
On July 23, 1970 His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has set off the resolve of the Omani citizens and their aspirations for a new life and a brighter future initiating the Renaissance process towards its desired goals.
