Oman picks World Cup in photography

Korea(Jeonju): The Sultanate won the World Cup for Photography in the under-21 youth category and the World Cup for under-16 in the city of Jeonju, under the auspices of the Mayor of Jeonju.
The event was organised as part of the activities of the conference of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP)
Oman got 424 points in the under-16 competition followed by Germany (366 points) and won the gold medal ; Russia (354 points) to win the silver medal and Austria (352 points) to win the bronze medal.
In the under-21 competitions, Oman also won the World Cup with (473 points) followed by Italy (435 points) to win the gold medal; Germany (373 points) silver medal; and Hungary (367 points) the bronze medal.
It is worth mentioning that Oman has taken part the meetings of the general assembly of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) from 22 August to 28 August.
