Oman swimmers win eight more medals at GCC championships

Muscat: Oman swimmers bagged eight medals in the ongoing GCC Swimming Championships in Dammam.
According to information received here, the Sultanate swimmers won four gold, two silver and two bronze medals to take their total tally to 11 medals in the championships.
The Omani have so far won five gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
In the 400m freestyle, Isa Al Adawi won the gold medal in a time of four minutes and 11.29 seconds (4:11.29) while Shihab Allauddin took the bronze in the same event in 2:35.53.
Khalfan Al Wahaibi won a silver medal in the 50m butterfly in 32.33 seconds.
The relay team of Khalfan Al Wahaibi, Amar Al Wahaibi, Mohannad Awlad Thani and BasharAl Kulaibi won 4x400m freestyle gold.
Isa Al Adawi won the gold medal in the 100metre freestyle. Mohannad Awlad Thani won a gold medal in the 50m backstroke. Khalfan Al Wehabi won a silver medal in the 100m freestyle. Amar Al Wahaibi won the bronze medal in the 100m freestyle.
