Oman crime: Alleged smuggler held by customs in Musandam

Muscat: An Asian national was arrested in Musandam by the Customs Department for trying to smuggle fake cigarettes and chewing tobacco. The accused was trying to smuggle 17 boxes of fake cigarettes and six boxes of chewing tobacco which are banned in the Sultanate. He was referred to the Public Prosecutor for further legal actions.
