Muscat: Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) and Indian School Muscat (ISM) opened their campaign in the Oman Cricket Women's Division League with good wins at the Ministry of Sports Affairs ground (Turf 2) in Al Amerat.
ISWK defeated Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) by 25 runs. Batting first ISWK scored 162 for 2 in 20 overs with Akshadha Gunasekar (47 not out) top scoring.
In response, PSM could managed only 138 for 5 in 20 overs despite Fiza Javed scoring an unbeaten 43.
Adding on to her batting contribution, Akshadha claimed two wickets to restrict PSM.

Extras galore
In another women's match at the same venue, ISM defeated BOC by 49 runs, which saw Mr. Extras topping the chart.
Batting first, ISM put on 155 for 2 in 20 overs. In response, BOC were all out for 106 in 18.1 overs. Shradha Nabira claimed 3 wickets for ISM. to enable their win.
BOC contributed 137 extras to ISM's total, while ISM too boosted BOC's total with 94 extras.

MCCC A win
In a boys Under-13 B Junior Division League match, MCCC A beat Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS) by 33 runs at the Municipality 4 ground.
Batting first, MCCC A put on 190 for 4 in 20 overs. Rahul Manohar top scored with 54. In response, ISAS managed 157 for 8 in 20 overs with Aditya S.M(36) top scoring.

PSM U-16 lose
In a Under-16 match, Sri Lankan School Muscat (SLSM) beat Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) by 13 runs at the Municipality 2 ground.
Batting first, SLSM put on 136 for 6 in 20 overs. Udantha Palihawadana top scored with 53. In response, PSM were bowled out for 123 in 19.5 overs. Udantha claimed 3 scalps to enable the narrow win for SLSM.

Win for ISWK
In another Under-16 match, ISWK beat ISG by 22 runs at Municipality 1 ground.
Batting first, ISWK put on 132 for 6 in 20 overs. Jeel Tanna top scored with 46. In reply, ISG scored 110 for 7 in 20 overs. Salman Mohamed contributed 43 runs.

ISWK 'B' and Indian School Nizwa (ISN) played out a tied Under-13 B match at the Municipality 2 ground.
Batting first, ISWK B put on 106 for 9 in 17.5 overs and in reply ISN scored the same in 17.5 overs for the loss of all 10 wickets.

SLSM win
In a Under-13 match, Sri Lankan School Muscat (SLSM) beat Nizwa Cricket Academy (NCA) by 136 runs at the Municipality 1 ground.
After SLSM put on 193 for 2 in 20 overs, NCA found the going tough and could score only 93 for 8 in 20 overs.
Devin Wijeyananda and Talha Khalid batted well for SLSM scoring 107 not out and 58 respectively. Talha also claimed 3 wickets to help SLSM gain a bonus point.

Batting first, ISWK A put on 179 for 3 in 20 overs and later bowled out PSM A for 123 in 18.4 overs. Swastik claimed 5 wickets for ISWK to enable the bonus point win.
