Oman-UAE to ease border traffic

Muscat: A joint committee will be formed between Oman and UAE to ensure smooth traffic of individuals and goods at the border points.
This was decided when senior officials of both of the countries met with each other at Muscat.
The Omani side was lead by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al- Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court while the UAE delegation was headed over by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al- Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The committee reviewed the topics listed on its agenda and took appropriate decisions in this regard, most importantly the issues related to daily living of citizens and expatriates in both brotherly countries, especially those related to facilitating the procedures at the border points.
At the conclusion, the two sides approved the minutes of the 18th session of the Omani -Emirati Higher Joint Committee.
