Athletics: Jennings emerges overall winner of third MRR Winter Series race

Muscat: Emmet Jennings emerged overall winner of the third race in the Muscat Road Runners Zawawi Colas Winter Series.
The third race of the series was the iconic Col du Amerat. The 13k route started from the park in Bousher before heading up Amerat hill, on the way down the route included a quick run out to the viewpoint before continuing down the hill and returning to the park.
The overall winner Emmet Jennings covered the distance in 46:15 seconds as second-placed was Edward Black (51:32) and third was Nick Conlan (53:03).
Asta Parker was the first female and 5th overall in a time of 58:41.
The winner of the 3.5k junior race was James in a time of 18:40 with Ollie second in 22:23 and Lucy third in 25:49.
