Sayyid Fahd to lead Oman delegation at Manama Summit

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers will leave today for Bahrain to lead the Sultanate's delegation at the 37th GCC Leaders' Summit in Manama scheduled for December 6 and 7.
This participation stems from the Sultanate's belief, under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, on the importance of meetings that gather brothers to discuss all matters, which contribute in enhancing the cooperation march and meet the hopes and aspirations of the GCC people.
Sayyid Fahd will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas and Dr. Fu'ad bin Ja'afar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. The official delegation also comprises some government officials.
