Sayyid  Fahd arrives in Bahrain for GCC Summit

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers arrived in Bahrain to take part in the two-day 37th GCC Leaders' Summit in Manama beginning yesterday.
This participation stems from the Sultanate's belief, under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, on the importance of meetings that gather brothers to discuss all matters, which contribute in enhancing the cooperation march and meeting the hopes and aspirations of GCC people.
Sayyid Fahd was seen off at the Royal Airport by Dr. Ali bin Masoud bin Ali Al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed bin Saif Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat and Charge D'affaires of the of Bahraini Embassy.
Sayyid Fahd is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas and Dr. Fu'ad bin Ja'afar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries. The official delegation also comprises some government officials.
