Sultan Qaboos Order for Culture, Science, Arts and Literature for Dr. Hamadoun Toure

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said conferred Sultan Qaboos Order for Culture, Science, Arts and Literature on Dr. Hamadoun Toure, former Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in appreciation for his good efforts in serving ITU and its goals.
The order was handed over by His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said when he received Dr. Toure in his office yesterday, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, Dr. Hamad bin Salim bin Rashid Al Rawahi, CEO of the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) and Dr. Salim bin Sultan Al Raziqi, CEO of the Information Technology Authority (ITA).
