US Bangla Airlines to operate six flights from Oman to Bangladesh

Muscat: From December 18, US Bangla Airlines will operate six flights per week to Bangladesh, the airline said.
“Effective from December 18, the airline will operate six flights from Muscat to Dhaka via Chittagong,” Venu Vasudevan, an official from Travel Point, said.
Travel Point is the General Service Agent of US Bangla Airlines in Oman.
“The airline will be flying on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday,” the official added.
Currently, the airline flies four times per week.
There are more than 600,000 Bangladeshis working in Oman.
US-Bangla Airlines (USBA) Ltd. is an affiliate of the US-Bangla Group, located in Dhaka. US-Bangla Airlines started its journey in July 2014, and in 2016 announced the operation of its first two Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It also launched its first international flights last May with its flights to Nepal’s Tribhuvan airport.
The addition of new direct flights to the Sultanate is a significant step towards OAMC’s strategic goal of placing Oman’s airports amongst the top 20 airports in the world by 2020. The number of international airlines operating at the Muscat International Airport now totals 33 carriers.
