MUSCAT — The Night of the AdEaters, the internationally acclaimed annual advertising festival is all set to rock Muscat for the first time ever. Since its origin in France in 1981, The Night of the AdEaters has grown into a global phenomenon with shows in more than 160 cities across 47 countries.

The Night of the AdEaters is a spectacular worldwide ‘advertainment’ show dedicated to showcasing creative advertising from 60 different nations on the big screen set in a crazy atmosphere!

It is the opportunity to fling open a window on the world and get a taste of what Russian, Asian, African, and South American advertisers serve up.

It is a chance too, to discover spots from lands as diverse as Mongolia, India, Iraq and even the Guarani region of Bolivia!

Also known as the La Nuit des Publivores, The Night of the AdEaters is the creation of the great French film artiste Jean Marie Boursicot.

Each year he combines hundred of novel ads from around the world into an entertaining show that enables us to laugh together as we experience a gigantic cultural tableau made up of glimpses into life in a multitude of countries.

The Night of the AdEaters will have two shows to be held at the Palm Gardens, Muscat InterContinental Hotel on the of October, 24 and 25, 2007. This event is brought to Oman by Applause Events, a leading event management company.

The Night of the AdEaters event in Muscat will not only feature some of the world’s most creative, humorous and engaging TV commercials but will also offer the audience two evenings of live entertainment and lots of fun.

Attractions such as ‘Lord of the Street’ dance competition and Drum Circle along with opportunities to win fabulous prizes will add to the excitement of this feisty event.

The event will be a great opportunity for the corporate sector and youth to unwind in the fun-filled ambience of Palm Gardens.
