MUSCAT — For Nawras customers, paying a mobile bill has become easier and more convenient with the recent introduction of e-payment providing postpaid customers with the option of settling their account online and prepaid customers with the ability to recharge their credit anytime, from the comfort of their own home or office.

Accessed via the interactive Nawras website, e-payments are processed via a secure network and reflected in real time on customers’ accounts.

Customers simply visit www.nawras.om, select MyNawras and follow the straightforward onscreen instructions. Nawras Ajel (postpaid) customers will see their account balance together with any outstanding amount as well as the history of all transactions.

“Customers get more with Nawras as we continue to actively focus on living the customer experience”, explained Nashat Al Riyami, product manager.

“For the last three years we have introduced many new products and services to make life easier for our customers and we are delighted with this latest example. This new service is free and allows our customers to use their Visa or MasterCard to settle their Nawras Ajel account or recharge their Nawras Mousbak, via a secured network.”

Each month, an SMS is sent to all Nawras Ajel customers to advise them that their bill has been sent and the total to be settled. Customers can choose to use one of several different payment methods including the new convenient online e-payment option as well as the new Self-Service Machines located in all 18 Nawras stores countrywide. Time-saving and simple to use, these machines provide another quick and easy way to pay a bill or recharge by using the simple instructions on the touch screen display.

In addition, Nawras Ajel accounts can be settled at over 300 BankMuscat and Oman Arab Bank payment outlets including ATMs, cash machines, Internet and phone banking.

Nawras is dedicated to making its mobile services as user-friendly as possible and this includes inviting customers to check their balance whenever they wish to or being able to check when their last payment was made by sending a free SMS with the keyword Bill to 90506 or logging onto MyNawras. It couldn’t be simpler, clearer or more transparent. Customers can see their account details as often as they like, free of charge and without using any paper which is good news for the environment too.

Postpaid customers wishing to move to Nawras from the other operator can do so by way of the straightforward porting process by simply settling their final account with the other operator before visiting any Nawras store within the following 24-hours.

The porting process is simple and allows new customers to join this award-winning operator without needing to change their existing number.

The pleasingly different experience of being a Nawras customer includes the ease of purchasing great value products and services together with convenient payment options.

Nawras will continue to enhance the mobile experience of all its customers, in line with its vision to enrich the lives of people in Oman through better communication services.

Nawras currently covers 96 per cent of the population with its world-class network, using national roaming where necessary and always with Nawras great value.
