MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of greetings to President Pratibha Patil of India on her country’s National Day.

In his cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere greetings along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to President Patil and the friendly people of India further progress.

His Majesty has also sent a cable of congratulations to President Armando Guebuza of the Republic of Mozambique on the occasion of his re-election as a president for a new presidential term.
