MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued two Royal Decrees as follows:

Royal Decree No. 8/2009 is on ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between the AGCC states and the Republic of Singapore.

Article 1 of the decree ratifies the FTA between the AGCC states and the Republic of Singapore, signed in Doha on December 15, 2008.

Article 2 says that the decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and takes effect from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No. 9/2009 is on ratification of the agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the government of the Sultanate and the government of the Netherlands.

Article 1 of the decree ratifies the agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments, signed in Muscat on January 17, 2009, between the government of the Sultanate and the government of the Netherlands.

Article 2 says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and takes effect from its date of issue.
