MUSCAT: It was an ‘incredible’ demonstration of the power of the mind.
Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) expert Deepak Rao lived up to the expectation of the audience at the event held, here, on Sunday. The show was presented by National Bank of Oman.

The reaction from the majority of the packed audience was a cohesive ‘brilliant’ at the end of the show.

“It was hard for the sceptic among us to dismiss his ability,” said one among them. Chitra Sridhar of Charisma LLC said, “Everyone, Omanis as well as expatriates, who attended the show were impressed with what he presented. He kept us mesmerised.”

From getting the audience to break a glass to pushing a pencil out of a person’s hand, just by staring at it for a few seconds to reading minds to telling astounded volunteers their mobile numbers, and guessing the name and the question, he has written on it from a paper folded, Deepak Rao did it all.

At the beginning of the show Rao explained his ability for extra-sensory perception as being ‘extremely sharp, extremely observant and extremely
alert’.

After promising the audience not to embarrass them, the highly engaging 70-minute interactive session involved ‘experiments’ in telepathy, clairvoyance, premonition and lie detection.
