MUSCAT | His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued three Royal Decrees.

Royal Decree No. 13/2010 considers Yanqul-Fida-Dhank road in Al Dhahirah a public utility project.

While Article One specifies the road as a public utility project, Article Two states that competent authorities shall expropriate by direct implementation properties, lands and installations needed in accordance with provisions of Public Utility Expropriation Law. The decree comes into force from date of issue. Royal Decree No. 14/2010 ratifying amendment to Arab Convention for Combating Terrorism. Article One ratifies the amendment to third paragraph of Article One of aforesaid convention as per attachment, while Article Two states competent authorities should deposit the ratification document on the convention amendment as per its provisions. The decree takes effect from date of issue.

Royal Decree No. 15/2010 ratifying the protocol for amending agreement on avoidance of double taxation and tax evasion for income tax and capital profits between the government of Sultanate of Oman and the UK of Great Britain and the Northern Ireland. Article one ratifies the aforesaid protocol and the decree takes effect from date of issue.
