Modern College of Business and Science - Math League II Competition

The response to Math League II competition conducted by Math Club MCBS on 17th November 2022 had been overwhelming. A total of 15 teams participated from various Colleges and Schools in Oman.

To promote affinity towards Mathematics and its applications Math Club continues in their efforts to conduct these kinds of events.

Math League 2 is an inter-collegiate and inter-school Math competition hosted by the Math Club. The event started with a welcome address and an explanation of the rules of the competition by the Club President. The competition had two rounds which had a duration of 30 minutes each. Dr. Khalfan Al-Asmi, Associate dean of academic affairs presented the Certificates of Participation to the Contestants. Dr. Moosa Al-Kindi, Dean of Modern College of Business and science gave the awards to the winners.

The winners for the College level Categories were as follows

1.) German University of Technology in Oman

2.) Middle East College

And The school level Categories were

1) Indian school Al Ghubra

2) Indian school Al Wadi Al Kabir

Math Club feels honored to host this event for about 60 students from various institutions and hope to continue to do more for Math Community in Oman.
