Citizen in Oman arrested for OMR29,000 fraud

Police in Samail recently arrested a citizen after he allegedly took OMR29,000 from another citizen as an investment and failed to return the money.

"The complainant claimed that he gave the suspect more than OMR 29,000 for invest in a specific project." – Royal Oman Police
The victim then called the accused to inquire about the matter, but the latter procrastinated and did not respond.

The police added that the accused was arrested and referred to the judicial authorities to complete the investigation.
