Two expats arrested for fraud in Oman

Two expats were recently arrested for selling a huge number of counterfeit watches in Muscat.

According to the Royal Oman Police, the accused were selling some of the watches for OMR3,000.

“The Department of Criminal Investigation in Muscat Governorate arrested two people of Arab nationality [on charges of fraud] for selling counterfeit watches. [Some of the watches] were [priced at] large amounts of up to OMR3,000 like the original ones." – Royal Oman Police

The defendants were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the investigation.
