Royal Oman Police makes several arrests across Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has made several arrests across the Sultanate of Oman.

Five smugglers arrested in Dhofar

ROP said in a statement that the Coast Guard police boats led by the Dhofar Governorate Police arrested five people of Arab nationality while trying to smuggle more than 1,000 packages of the khat drug . The legal procedures were completed against them.

Five foreigners arrested for entering Oman illegally

ROP said in a statement that the Musandam Governorate Police Command arrested five people of Asian nationality in the Wilayat of Bukha for entering the country illegally. 

Citizen arrested for fraudulent practices

According to the ROP, the General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations arrests a citizen for practicing sorcery and defrauding a group of women after luring them and deluding them with his ability to heal and bring good luck.

The legal procedures are being completed against all the accused.
