Oman's ministry portal has been hacked

Oman’s Ministry of Education has revealed that a hacker breached its Education Portal homepage on Wednesday morning. In a statement, the ministry warned that it will take “all possible legal action against all who are involved” in the hack. Social media in Oman is buzzing after the hack, which is believed to have been committed by a student. The Ministry, however, has assured the public that the Education Portal is working normally as it is currently dealing with the breach in every technical aspect.
