Taxi fares to drop

Muscat Airport taxis are currently among the most expensive in the GCC. Airport taxi fares will drop when Mwasalat takes over their operation later this year. The new fares are aimed to start at OMR 3 instead of the current rate of OMR 6. “The fares haven’t been agreed by taxi drivers and negotiations are going on,” CEO of Mwasalat.
