Abu Dhabi: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at his residency in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai.
The two sides reviewed the fraternal bonds binding Oman and the UAE. They also discussed bilateral relations and means of promoting them in various spheres to serve interests of the Omani and Emirati peoples.
The audience was attended from the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the UAE.
It was attended from the UAE side by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline, Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, Lt.Gen Talal Hamid Belhoul, Director-General of the Security Department in Dubai and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Port World Group, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation.
