100 arrested for violating Labour Law in Oman

Ibri: In all 100 expatriate workers were arrested for violating the Labour Law by the joint labour inspection team of the Directorate General of Manpower in Al Dhahirah Governorate in April.
Another 83 have been deported.
According to Labour Care Department statistics 178 cases of absconding workers were recorded and 118 establishments inspected during the month.
