Fifa rankings: Oman drop six places to 106th

Muscat: Oman have dropped six places from position 100 to 106, according to the current world Fifa ranking released on Thursday.

Even war-torn countries like Iraq (99) and Syria (104) seem to do better than the GCC reds.

Since May 2016, the national team has been gradually going down from 98, to 100 in Juna and 106 in July.

The Sultanate is now sandwiched between Nicaragua and Togo.
