Suspicious suitcases in Salalah airport contained clothes, flights resumed

Muscat: Two suspicious suitcases which set off an evacuation in Salalah Airport on Thursday morning contained clothes, Royal Oman Police (ROP) reported.

"Following regular procedures and after inspecting the two abandoned bags, it turned out that they had personal clothes inside them," ROP said in a tweet.

The luggage was found on Thursday morning at the departures building's entrance, the Oman Airports Management Company said, adding that flights immediately resumed after the threat was over.
